A tiny fishing boat heading to the harbor, bringing in its catch for the day.
A hump back whale, tail up, diving to the depths of the bay.

Life is a lot like that. Some days are sunny and bright. Others are clouded with uncertainty and indecision.
Still others will place obstacles in our way. An accident, a bad diagnosis, the loss of a job, or a divorce can dull the brightness of any day.
Just like the sunset, every day is different.
Lord, thank you for each day and the chance to enjoy them regardless of the challenges that face us. Like the sunset, each is different.
As we age, we realize that each day is a gift from God. We realize that those days are numbered and every day is a blessings to be lived.
